This increase, which concerns all European countries, will come into force on February 2. Thus the price of the short-stay visa will be 80 euros for applicants over the age of twelve. For the youngest, aged between 6 and 11, the price is 40 euros, while the visa will be entirely free for those under six.

In addition to the change in the price list, the Spanish ministry also specifies that visa applications may be submitted between 6 months and 15 days before the start of the trip, with a processing time ranging from 15 to 45 days. It should be noted that this decision follows the one adopted last year by the European Commission.
