DHL Global Forwarding, the leading international freight forwarding solutions provider, has signed a deal with Tanger Med to set up its new Africa-Europe Logistics Hub in the Tanger Med Logistical Zone.

The new DHL Global Forwarding logistics hub that will begin operations by May 2019, at 6,000 m² will be the largest facility for DHL in Morocco and will serve DHL’s clients with imports and exports needs between Europe and Africa.

DHL’s new setup in Tanger Med will allow the leading freight forwarder to provide its clients with end-to-end logistics solutions including but not limited to: In-house customs clearance, supply chain management, as well as its well-known air, air, and road transport services.

“The strategic location of Tanger Med presents a huge opportunity for us. Its ability to support multi-modal connectivity, especially maritime, as well as road connections to Casablanca and the South, will allow us to expand and enhance our customer service offering,” said Christelle Fadel, General Manager, DHL Global Forwarding, Morocco.
