Houcine Ammouta has named a 31-man squad for a training camp from 14th to the 20th of August in preparation for the CHAN Ethiopia 2020 qualifiers.
The Atlas Lions kick off the CAF African Nations Championships – CHAN – qualifiers with two games against Algeria on September 20th and October 19th.
Raja Casablanca’s winger Ahaddad, as expected, is the headline inclusion. The 24-year-old returned to the Moroccan championship on a summer transfer from Zamalek after winning the CAF Confederation Cup against RS Berkane.
The squad features the presence of two players who participated in the African Cup of Nations; Wydad’s goalkeeper Reda Tagnaouti and HUSA’s defender Baadi.
Last CHAN’s top scorer and current Wydad Casablanca’s forward, Ayoub El Kaabi, made it to Ammouta’s list after returning to Morocco on loan from Chinese club Hebei Fortune.
